2022 Snowflake Campaign
Music is powerful. In a moment, it has the ability to influence our moods, inspire energy, and remind us of cherished memories.
Music is a language that people of all ages, religions, nationalities, and ethnicities speak. It is a therapeutic outlet, providing many health and wellness benefits, as well as increases range of motion, facilitates relaxation, and promotes creativity and decision making.
All donations to the 2022 Snowflake Campaign will go directly towards the purchase of musical instruments from Inclusive Instruments.
Inclusive Instruments’ Mission is to create meaningful social connections for people who have diverse abilities, through their custom musical instruments. The Adaptive Acoustic Guitar, Adaptive Electric Guitar, and the Air Guitar (see Appendix A) encourages group, and solo play. The acoustic and electric guitars are played by pressing one of the colored buttons, which replaces holding down the strings to change chords. The Adaptive Air Guitar is played by waving a hand over the motion-sensor puck. The instruments are enjoyed by musicians of all abilities!
Your generous gift will provide Tonio and Ella, as well as many others who have diverse abilities, the opportunity to utilize Inclusive Instruments, which will provide further outlets of self-expression, and an endless list of health and wellness benefits.
A personalized snowflake decoration, displayed on the Community Living Chatham-Kent Tree, is our way to thank you for your donation. A donation in honour or in memory of a loved one is also available.
We hope you will consider a gift of either $75, $50, or more, to help Community Living Chatham-Kent purchase this unique equipment.
We sincerely appreciate your consideration, and please reach out if you have questions.
Kindly,
Nicole Roeszler
Manager of Community Relations
