Talon would “love to attend an outdoor concert!”
Since 1955, Community Living Chatham-Kent has provided supports and services to over 550 people who have an intellectual disability and reside in Chatham-Kent. Our goal is that all people live in a state of dignity, share in all elements of living in the community and have the opportunity to participate effectively.
Our Adult Respite program provides out-of-home respite for people who live at home with their family. Services are provided for adults in a home-like setting.
The team at this location would love to increase the level of community participation they are able to provide to those who attend this program. A grant previously awarded to assist with costs for these activities is no longer available. Donations made through our 2019 Everybody Campaign would offset these costs. Field trips are a wonderful way to expose people to new experiences and allows everyone to enjoy new adventures together with friends.
Your generosity allows us to continue providing the best possible supports and services, ensuring people are valued, and contributing citizens to the community of Chatham-Kent.
Wyatt would “love to see a movie at the theatre.”
