Ron Coristine, Executive Director, Community Living Chatham-Kent, has confirmed that two people who live in a residential home have tested positive for COVID-19.
The two individuals each had a fever last Friday, March 20th, and were taken to the hospital and tested.
Both persons immediately went into self-isolation on Friday, March 20th, at an agency home that was not being occupied by anyone.
The positive test results were shared with agency personnel last evening.
They will remain in self-isolation until Friday, April 3rd.
Their families have been contacted.
As of today, each person is doing well.
