Community Living Chatham-Kent had no cases of COVID-19 during the month of October.
I commend everyone for this achievement.
Please continue to practise all of the preventative measures that are in place.
We were very happy to have Cynthia Lockrey from Lockrey Communications present the following three virtual workshops:
- Communicating with Families
- Crisis Communications
- Supporting Individuals who have Autism
Attendance at each workshop was excellent.
One hundred and seventy-five $25.00 Gift Certificates were purchased from Bowlerama so that people who lived independently or with families could go bowling. Also, CLC-K residential locations were able to designate $25.00 per person of their agency petty-cash so that each person who wanted to go bowling could. Bruce Cockburn, owner of Bowlerama, has been a great supporter of this agency.
CLC-K extends congratulations to all recipients of Chatham-Kent Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards.
The new Holiday Calendars are now available for $5.00, buy one soon.
