Children Supports (Age 1-18)
Community Living Chatham-Kent offers programs and supports to children who have an intellectual disability. We offer out-of-home respite in a home-like atmosphere for children who have a wide range of medical, physical, and emotional needs. From age 15, we also offer social/recreational programs and summer employment experiences (see Youth Supports).Children’s Respite
Out-of-home respite is available for a few hours, overnight, for weekends, or for up to a week at a time. Our trained, professional team keeps your child healthy, safe, and happy, while giving you a break. It's also a great break for them, with lots of fun activities and outings planned throughout their stay. For further information on Children's Respite, please click here.
