Family Supports

Community Living Chatham-Kent offers assistance to families supporting an individual who has an intellectual disability. Often families aren’t sure what is available in the community to enhance the lives of their loved one. We offer “one-stop shopping” to help you get what you need. Our agency planner can help you access the services you need, whether the service is available through Community Living, or through one of our community partners.


Respite

Children's Repite

Out-of-home respite is available for a few hours, overnight, for weekends, or up to a week at a time. Our trained, professional team keeps your child healthy, safe, and happy, while giving you a break. It's also a great break for them, with lots of fun activities and outings planned throughout their stay. For further information on Children's Respite, please click here.

Adult Respite

Community Living Chatham-Kent offers flexible, short-term residential care to adults who have an intellectual disabiltiy. The staff ensure that all needs of the individuals are met while at Respite, in addition to offering a variety of recreational options.
