What education do I need for a part-time support worker position?

Grade 12 diploma or equivalent to apply plus experience in the Human Services field is required.

Do you hire Personal Support Workers / Health Care Aides?

Personal Support Workers (PSW) and Health Care Aides (HCA) will be considered for Part-Time Support Worker positions only. To be considered for a full-time position the PSW or HCA must have 5 years experience in the developmental services field and 4000 hours worked with Community Living Chatham-Kent.

What are the educational requirements to qualify for a full-time position within Community Living?

A Developmental Services Worker diploma or equivalent is required. There is no minimum length of employment with Community Living Chatham-Kent that is required to apply for a full-time position. 

Is there an opportunity for advancement to full-time positions?
