Last year was another outstanding year, with over 150 families, self advocates, and friends responding to Community Living Chatham-Kent's request for membership! Your participation is vital for the continuation of our success.Cost of Membership is $10 (single or family) per year (see membership application attached).
As a member,
- You are eligible to vote for the Board of Directors at our Annual General Meeting
- You would be eligible to serve on the Board of Directors or its committees
- You automatically become a member of Community Living Ontario and the Canadian Association for Community Living
- You receive our newsletter, Community Connections, as well as Directions, a publication of Community Living Ontario
- You have the opportunity to become better informed on issues that affect people who have an intellectual disability
During the coming year, we look forward to building on our recent successes, which have improved supports and services, and opened new doors of opportunity for the people we support! These successes never cease to amaze us: new jobs, new living situations, reconnections with family members, vacations, new friends, and new chances to contribute to the community.
